generally, greatly enjoyed this silent accommodation with exceptionally polite staff from a very pleasant receptionist.
Well, the area was unfriendly overall.

I had breakfast in the restaurant and everything was fabulous. Everything was perfect and within 26 minutes' drive of London City airport...

It was excellant 6 days, would like to come again. It was an old-fashioned hotel which had excellent service. The stuff was honest and courteous, we had a very quick check-in. The room was spotless, new-fashioned and included adequate storage, an iron, and coffee. Marvellous and gorgeous location - easy walk to everywhere we needed. The venue was in a good area. The restaurant was reasonably priced and food was hot.
Even though everything was good, some of the staff were absolutely awful.

The location was excellent as it was close to the underground but within walking distance of plenty of restaurants. The room was a good size and very comfortable.
1) My room had a connecting door to the room next door and unfortunately this meant that when the neighbouring guest was talking on his mobile phone (in the middle of the night) this was particularly loud and woke me up. 2) I found that the front desk staff were a little arrogant in their manner. 3) the cost of the internet. I was using the hotel for business and had thought that free wi-fi was industry norm, especially in a hotel of this standard. The charge was £14.99 for 24 hours.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed a lovely stay with a well-kept room, though the windowless view was disappointing. Staff interactions could improve, but appreciated the unique restaurant offerings. For breakfast, clarify what's included to avoid confusion. Pro tip, don't hesitate to ask for extra amenities right away!

I liked the position of the hotel. It is situated close to all of the theatres, Covent Garden and basically anywhere you would want to go in the West End of London.
I would strongly warn people away from this hotel on both Friday and Saturday nights unless the hotel guarantees you a room that is not street- side. Unfortunately right next to the hotel is a night club called Sways and there is a lot of noise until at least 3am on both Fridays and Saturdays. We were on the 6th floor of the hotel and both nights that we stayed there, it seemed almost like there was a party in the room ! We had requested a quiet room on a high floor but the hotel did not care to meet our request. To the credit of the hotel, after our complaints the manager offered us the chance of a discounted rate should we ever return, in compensation for the noise.

My stay was fantastic, given the close proximity to Covent Garden only 500 meters away and the easy stroll to the National Gallery with a perfect blend of culture and relaxation during my weekend getaway.

We ate in the really nice restaurant except for the breakfast buffet which was reasonably priced. The check-in was easy and the atmosphere was chic overall. Could leave our car on site. The location was perfect, in the Covent Garden district and close to a subway station. Set a short walk to a garden and a park, it was a plus. Liked our stay in this hotel.

It had good transport links and was generally a pleasant stay but I've stayed in better quality for less and the hotel did not seem to meet the expectation that the pictures and descriptions described. A let down in some ways and not bad in others but quite pricey.
The price for what you get. We booked deluxe but if that was deluxe then I'm really thankful I didn't book a standard as that would have been a real let down. I expected more for what I paid quite frankly.

Very friendly helpful staff, good location, excellent restaurant.
We travelled with a 4 year old, although we made a booking for a child they told us when we arrived that there were no small beds available for the room. In the evening we dined quite late with friends in the restaurant and at about 11pm they asked us to vacate the restaurant and go into the bar. The bar was packed noisey and no where to sit and chat. Spoiled our evening somewhat. There is no onsite car parking and no valet service as was implied in the advert.

Everything! The room was lovely, bright very clean and spacious with good facities. The hotel was not too large so we were not overwhelmed with people. Check in and check out processes very efficient with no queues. Afternoon tea was a real treat and is highly recommended. Fantastic location for Covent Garden and the Royal Opera House.
Though good the breakfast was probably somewhat over priced; but who wants the hassle of trudging the streets looking for breakfast!
